The Memphis Tigers have recently jumped from Conference USA to the newly created American Athletic Conference (The American). Actually, several schools have switched to The American and merged with remaining schools from the original Big East conference.

Tennessee Volunteers

Orange and White have been the trademark colors for of the Tennessee Volunteers for decades. Most Colleges and Universities are jumping on the bandwagon, introducing new colors into their uniforms and moving away from tradition and more towards a modern look, in hopes of appealing to high school students looking to go to college. Many teams in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) have stuck to their roots and have 2 colors in their scheme.
